Just the other day when I was driving home from work, I heard this on the Radio. Now according to research (I'm not sure who does their research for them!!!) they found that man who marry a woman who he thinks is beautiful/drop dead gorgeous and that he doesn't deserve, will most likely have a very successful marriage because he will treat her very well. Man who thinks that they are better looking than their wife will most likely not have a successful marriage because they think they deserve better.
What do you all think?
Does this mean that man who thinks they are so damn goodlooking will cheat more? How about those drop dead gorgeous woman who married an average looking man? Won't they cheat on them and think they deserve better too?
Maybe its because woman in general tend to love romantic gestures and love to have a sense of emotional closeness, therefore may not cheat on the husband even if they are drop dead gorgeous.
Now men on the other hand, if they think that they deserve better and could find someone even more beautiful because he is one damn good looking guy, no matter how nice the wife treats him, he may have the urge to still cheat on her. Probably because men are more visually stimulated??? Maybe???
It's no wonder there is a phrase that goes "It's better to marry someone who loves you more than you love them" (applies to women I suppose) Something like that lah...:P. Hopefully somewhere in the marriage you'll learn to love them just as much! :).
How about if both are drop dead gorgeous leh??? Seldom happens I know but it does happen.
Still one might feel inferior to the other one, i think.
