Day 1: The Making of the Wedding Card

So.....hmmmm.....last night I was suppose to begin with my dream of MAKING CARDS!!! Only to find out that I'm so damn LAZY!!! Aiyo!!! After putting my little one to sleep, I obviously fell asleep as well. I did however wake up at 10pm but I just couldn't get myself to start cutting stuff from the magazine and finding a hard piece of paper in the house to make into the base of the card!!! At that time in my head, the work was just too tedious!!! Hahaha....yalah...I know I'm just plain lazy...:P

So how leh??? Sigh....I got to make the first step if not my dream will never come true!!! When I was writing yesterdays blog, I was so excited to make the cards that it didn't really feel like it was tedious....but I definitely have to start somewhere. I'll try again tonight...haha....wish me luck again!!! Hopefully I would have some pictures of the card to show you by tomorrow or whatever I have started :D.

Oklah...that's it from me today! For now I have work to do....this evening I'll attack my magazines and see what I have...:P. Than you all comment on the card on whether it is nice or not ah....if not nice I don't want to give it to my cousin this saturday...hahaha...malu eh...:P

I WANT TO MAKE CARDS!!!

This morning I saw someone made a beautiful Birthday Card and because of that, I WANT TO MAKE ALSO!!! I want to be just as creative as all this people out there who can make things!!! But where do I find my inner creativeness (if there is such a word!!!). So, since this morning, I now have a dream!!!

I want to make:

1) Birthday Cards

2) Christmas Card

3) Valentines Day Cards

4) Anniversary Cards

5) Baby Born Cards

etc...

Any type of cards lah!!! I mean if you've read my blog often, I did write somewhere that I want to make calenders and start book scrapping or something like that. My only problem is....where can I find the time??? I should have time for myself to do things like this....but if I were to do it when my daughter is awake, chances are she'll cut up things and stick things here and there. Well, that's her way of trying to help out as she doesn't like being left out at all...very sweet of her...but that would probably make my card look horrible....sigh...I guess I just have to figure it out if I intend to start being creative.

Hmmm...wonder when I should start being creative....hmmm...ahhhh...my cousin is getting married this Saturday so maybe I can make a card for them....that would be nice wouldn't it??? Hmmmm...a wedding card....something to think about. Well, I have 3 days to get it done...and once I'm done, I'll put up a picture of it in here and you tell me whether its nice or not...ok??? Worst come to worst, if I don't get it done by than, than I'll just go to Moments @ Toys World and get them a card...haha...than I'll stand a chance of having someone else buying the same card....hahaha.

Oklah....I think I'll try and find some time tonight to start on trying to be creative :P. If this is a success than I'll probably start making Birthday cards and Christmas cards and sale it on my blog here....good idea kan! Just for the fun of it!!!

Me??? Married Long??? Nolah! Only 4 years!!!

How do you know that you have been married for quite awhile already?

When the conversation goes like this....

Hubby asks, "Any sex tonight? Asking first."

Wife says, "Ok"

And this is done by SMS when both parties are in different rooms in the house...huhu....yes, yes, the wonders of being married!!!! *wink*

And that's only after 4 years!!! Can't imagine what it will be like after 10 years...maybe something like this....

Huhu.....Isn't it wonderful being married!!! I think it is!!! :D

I'm NOT a SUPERWOMAN!!!

Superwoman I am NOT! But look what I did!!!

Yup! that's the toilet paper roll holder from my bathroom wall!!!

And yup again!!! That's where the toilet paper roll holder was!!!

How did that happen? Well, it all started at 6.30am in the morning when I was ummm....doing number 2. Usually I would bring in a book to read to occupy my time in there but today I just went in the toilet without thinking of grabbing any kind of reading material....I think I was still half-asleep.

So, guess what I did!!! I twirl and twirl the toilet paper roll thingy lah! and since I was so bored out of my mind, I decided to shake it a bit just for the fun of it...yes, I know that's weird...hahaha...and nobody in their normal mind would do such a thing.......but I did it anyway....*grin*....and to my surprise it literally CAME OFF!!! I of course was SHOCK lah! Hahaha....can you imagine sitting there and still in a dream-like-state shaking that thingy and than off it comes!!! Hahaha....now this just proves that the workmanship for the toilet sucks big time and it has nothing to with the inner streght that I have...hahaha....if only I had such strength....:P

Anyway, when I came out of the toilet, I had a huge smile on my face....obviously!!! I mean who wouldn't!!! So, my daughter knew something was up and she looked into the toilet and said to me "Why mommy pull that thing out?" and all I could say was "Hahaha....I also don't know". When my husband saw it, he said "WAH! YOU SO STRONG HAH!" and than he ask me "What you do?" and I said "I sat there and shake it and than it just came off!!!" and than I laugh again lah...funny bah....he also laugh after that and said he can't fix it...hahaha....that of course I know lah...I would definitely need to get someone to cement it back to the wall!!! Anybody have any idea who I should call???

I hope I don't break anything else in the house today. So, Balqizz, you are not alone in breaking stuff!!! :P

Dolphin Research Project in MIRI!!! Macam Tak Percaya kan???

A lady with a big heart for Dolphins!!!

A few months back I happily volunteered myself to get involve in the Dolphin Survey for the Dolphin Research Project which was being done by Unimas and funded by Shell. I volunteered cause I wanted to see DOLPHINS!!! OBVIOUSLY!!! And I was pretty surprise to find out that we could actually have Dolphins here in Miri....surprise! surprise!!!

So yesterday the day finally came when I was to go out on a boat with 6 other people to look out into the seas and spot for dolphins. Since the weather hasn't been all that fantastic, it was a 50/50 chance of actually going out to sea. Lucky me, it was one of those days where the weather was on my side :D. So we all gathered together at the Piasau Jetty at 7.30am and only left the jetty at around 8am cause we had to wait for one person.

It started off pretty chilly but the weather eventually got better and the sea was pretty calm! I took a sea sick pill cause I had no intentions of puking my guts out at the side of the boat. So on we went far out to sea and the boat would move at a slow pace while we all stand on the boat and look out to sea while we wait for the dolphins to appear.

To cut the story short...there were NO Dolphins yesterday...SO SAD :(. We were out there from 8am to 2pm and all I got was a nice tan....hahaha...that means I'm so dark already!!!! And I almost fell off the boat cause my eyes kept on wanting to close when I looked out into the open sea. Boring bah! (Nasib I got Somboi to keep me awake....if not sure I masuk in the sea already! Ahhhh....such a scary thought) Our Miri sea got nothing to see at all!!! Saw one green noodle fish....hmmm...who knows what it is actually called but it looks like a green stick skidding on the surface of the sea. Very interesting....and that was all i saw!!! We saw a few big wood bobbing in the water which made for some false alarm as we thought that it was dolphins....hahaha...but no such luck!

All the ladies took a dive in the sea except me!!! hahaha.....you won't believe it if I told you that I have yet to get over the movie JAWS....hahaha...SERIOUSLY!!! I'm TERRIFIED of open sea!!! I can't see what's under me and I can't even touch the ground!!!! SUCH A SCARY THOUGHT!!! NO???? YES LAH!!! Eeeeee....don't know how they all so berani....hahaha....than again....its me lah that is such a coward...kuang kuang kuang....maybe I should go learn diving to face my fears....yes, yes...indeed a good idea!!! Something to think about in the coming year :D.

The ladies in the sea...nasib no sharks...hahaha....yes! I'm so paranoid when it comes to things like this :) Hmm...and that was also a toilet break for all of them :P No toilet on the boat bah! Hahaha...so hantam lah...pee in the sea...as for me, well...hmmm...that's for me to know and for you all to never ever find out :P

I'm also considering to join them again in March next year and hopefully since it would be bubuk season than, I just hope that the Dolphins would appear as well :D...*Fingers cross* *Toes Cross* and anything that I can cross lah!!!

This is one HUGE HOUSE!!! or more like a PALACE!!! I have no clue how you can get there from land but I'm sure its possible. It looks like a Secret Get-Away!!! Whose house is this ah??? Heard it belong to the owner of Shin Yang....true kah??? Seriously KAYA lah!!! Looks more like a Resort than a House! The picture is a bit blur cause we were speeding back to the Piasau Jetty and I had to go on FLUKE SHOTS!!! Dahlah not stable, nasib the picture came out not too bad!!! :D But trust me, I took so many pictures of the sky and the sea while trying to get this one nice shot :P

Since you have already seen the house of the Rich and Famous, I now bring you back to reality to see the Poor and the Not Famous....kesian kan! Their house looks like its going to fall down soon!!! But than again, it has withstand time already.....see! we all should be thankful for the nice houses we have....AMEN!

Weekend Sports Craze in KK - PART 2

Sorry guys...I know I always do this....haha..apologies before I start writing a blog because it takes me so long to update it. My excuse this time round is that, I have quite a number of datelines and I have been down with fever, flu and cough for the last 3 days. I'm much better now but I'm still coughing. :(

Now, to continue my Part 2 of my Part 1, this is what happen....

After the futsal, we all went back to the hotel and showered and got ready for dinner. We had dinner at this nice restaurant which I really can't remember the name...biasalah me....so you guys have to bear with my forgetfulness :P. It was near the waterfront....if that is what you all will call it and it was infront of warisan square....anybody knows that place? We had prawns and lobster and vege and...etc.....wah!!! so sedap I tell you!!! Opps...sorry wrong time to talk about food now...especially for those who are puasa-ing now...sorry :). After the makan the four of us when shopping. The four of us, meaning shirley, syl, syikin and me :D. I in particular didn't buy anything but bed slippers for my daughter and eye mo cause my eyes were so itchy!!! That didn't work, so I had to go and buy Naphcon A instead. Trust me, if you eyes are like super itchy and no other eye drops will work, this will definitely work!!! :P

Anyway, after the shopping, me and syl when to see the bowlers do their thing for awhile. After that we got back to our rooms and most of us got ready to go to "Rumba" a club which is in the hotel that we stayed. Despite being tired and all, we all still manage to get ourselves to the club. The club was really nice. The music that night started off with Reggae which was really cool and the band is really good....I think they are still there. Me and Syl got back to our room at 1am cause we knew that tomoro would be another eventful day. The rest of the group stayed back. My roommate got back at 3am in the morning and poor girl, she was really wasted.

Anyway, the next morning, which was a Sunday, me and syl manage to get ourselves out of bed to have early breakfast, and mind you the breakfast at Le Meridien is DELICIOUS!!! After that we tried to wake the other two girls but we couldn't so we left them and when on to the sports center. We were suppose to play volleyball when we got there but we wanted voleyball to be played indoor cause it was so hot outside.....sadly, we had no choice but to still play volleyball outside but it was postpone to a later time so me and syl could play badminton...hahaha....yes, badminton also we can hantam play!!! Not enough players bah :P. After badminton, which we obviously lost ....we rush to the volleyball court to play volleyball. We only manage to play the second half because the game already started when we were playing badminton. But that's ok, cause I pretty much suck at volleyball too :P.

Volleyball went on till about 2pm and by that time we all just wanted the game to end cause it was so super hot. So from the game point being 25 we reduced it to 15...hahaha....that also can you know! Cause both teams agreed to it :P. After the volleyball we all moved in to the indoor court to watch the sepak takraw that was going on. But honestly most of us were already exhausted!!! Our batteries were all really low and some of us had to shut down for awhile to recharge just for a few minutes. I tried but couldn't...so I just stared into space waiting for someone to say "OK! lets go back!" but that didn't happen till 4pm.

After the prize giving ceremony we all got into our respective cars and went back to the hotel. I had to rush up to the room and quickly shower cause I needed to get to church by 5pm. Manage to get ready and wait at the lobby at 4.50pm, but the other two people who were going to the church as well were not ready yet. We all however manage to get into the car at about 5.05pm and we reached the church at 5.20pm. We missed some part of the service but I'm sure God understood :D. I was definitely very tired but I manage to stay awake for the sermon and all. The priest there was funny so that kept me awake.

After church we all got back to the hotel again and changed for the Sukan Muhibah's closing dinner. Now at the dinner, my body really couldn't cope with the exhaustion. I was so seriously spaced out!!! I couldn't even concentrate during the whole dinner. I just sat there and open and close my mouth to chew and that's all I did. My friend tried talking to me, but since I was so blur she had to touch me and talk to me again....hahaha...sad case lah....I had to apologies to her and she said to me "I was beginning to wonder how long would it take for you to reply me"...:P Well, I was not the only one, I notice that Syl and Val were just as spaced out as well, staring into thin air. After the last course came we girls decided to leave. We just couldn't wait for the whole thing to end. We caught a cab and got back to the hotel. We packed our stuffs in a zombie like fashion and everybody just fell asleep. That was the other of the second day.

On the third day, Monday, our flight was at 6.30an so we all had to wake up at 5am. By some miracle we manage to wake up, manage to get our stuffs all packed, get into the taxi and arrived at the airport in time to check in our stuffs. When into the boarding area and got ourselves hotdogs from 1901. THANK GOD they open early!!! Ate and boarded the plane. Reached Miri at 7.30am....I had actually plan to go to work, but I decided to take half day off to recover. Unfortunately the half-day became a whole day...haha...and that was the end of my Crazy Sports Weekend sports!!!

The end!!! And yes I admit, this particular blog, is pretty boring cause I don't seem to have any energy in me today...sorry guys :P But thanks for reading anyway!!!
