The New Bicycle and me Craving for UFO aka Mexican Hat....

Sigh...its still raining....I guess not many people remembered to sing the song that I said we should sing....then again, why in the world would people want to listen to me...hahaha....

Anyway, yesterday I went to the bicycle shop to buy a nice little bicycle for my darling daughter...I saw one that I like with the criteria that she mentioned (the criteria was: PINK and have basket infront) I thought it was a really nice bicycle :D. I send it home to my hubby forst so he could clean it up a bit and make it look presentable then I went to pick her up. When we got back home, she didn't notice it but when she saw it, her whole face lit up!!! :D I of course happy lah! Cause I was the one who chose it mah!!! And I was thankful that she liked what I chose :P. She came down from the car and straight away went onto the bike....hehe...what child wouldn't do that....right?

Anyway, as usual being a 3 year old girl she couldn't really keep her feet on the pedal and instead of pedaling it to the front, she pedals it backwards, probably cause it was easier to move that way. And since I'm still PMS-ing....hahaha...I almost got upset cause she kept on pedaling it the wrong way and she kept on saying that the bicycle won't move. I even got down to my knees to help her pedal by putting my hand on her feet...it was a bit successful but not really...hahaha...so I think I took a few deep breathes and said to myself "for goodness sake JACQ!, it's her first time on the bike! Give her some time!!!". After a few rounds I got fed-up and went to look for the camera so I could take pictures of her...haha...everytime I see her smile, it melts my heart and I'm not angry anymore...:D. See that smile below...how can you stay angry at that cheecky little face :P

My extremely happy little sunshine :D

She's obviously trying her best to cycle but she has yet to coordinate herself. She'll concentrate so much on her pedalling that she forgets to turn the handles and goes right into the wall.. :)

Posing with her new wheels!

Talking about her smiling, just now when I picked her up from school, I was like 2 minutes late and she was crying (like really hard)....sigh...that just broke my heart...so I had to carry her and give her many many kisses. I ask her why she cried and whether it was because I was late, and she said Yes!. So kesian!!! Usually I'm one of those mom's who are eager to break down the fence to be the first to get to her class and since she first started class, I was always the first or the secong :P, so I guess she thought I wasn't coming since I wasn't the first neither the second. I had to reassure her pver and over again just now, that I will always pick her up even when I'm late....but I did also promise her that from now on I'll be early. And I'm sure I'll be early cause I don't want her to cry like that again...I really felt so bad that I made her cry just now....yes..I'm pretty emotional when I'm PMS-ing too!!!

Talking about PMS-ing again, I feel like eating the UFO looking kuih....or some people may call it the Mexican Hat....but I call it the UFO kuih cause that's what my dad use to call it :D. That kuih always reminds me of him cause when i was young, every time after he comes back from work, he will bring it back for us to eat before dinner...but I remembered at that time I use to like to eat the crispy part only and I usually left the middle part to anyone else who wanted to eat it...hmmm....I wonder who ate them up anyway...I could never sit still to find out. Oh well..gone are those days when there were no responsibilities and when I had my dad around. Sigh....I miss him so much...I wonder what he's up to in heaven. Alrighty, better not talk about him anymore before I get all emotional...:P

Oklah...enough about me...I can be so self-centered sometimes :P

TA for now!!! And after work I'll teach my daughter how to use her bike again :D TA!

The Bad, The Good and the PMS-ing...:P

Hmmm...obviously "trying to update my blog" that particular night wasn't successful :P. Oh well, I guess there is nothing much that can be done now but to update it today :). Well, it's still lunch time now so I have like 10 minutes to type as fast as i can before I'm back to doing work.

Nothing fantastic has happen recently, accept for the fact that the rain has destroyed our beautiful Canada Hill...of course it's not totally destroyed lah but destroyed enough. It use to be nice and green hill...but now its muddy at the bottom in most parts. Miri oh Miri, what have become of you....sigh....well at least today is a bright sunny day but there is black clouds still hovering in the sky...wonder whether it will rain later???

Maybe we should all sing this song together in unison than the rain will go away. Ok? Alright, everybody, together now!

Rain rain, go away,
Come again another day,
Rain rain, go away,
Little Me, wants to play :D

Good Job you all!!! Even if you were just reading it, I'm sure the song was actually playing in your head :D

Besides all the catastrophe that has happen to Miri, good things have happen too to me...a few days back I saw a perfect semi-circle rainbow and I could even see where it ended....of course the ends always move if you try to move any nearer to the rainbow...but from far I could see it end. That happen when I was on my way to the hospital when I followed my mom for her medical check-up. I guess that just means that from now on my mom is going to be all strong and healthy :P. Don't you think so??? Hahaha....I have to be positive about that :D. At least something good is happening in my life :D.

And again yesterday when I was cooking maggie mee for my daughter for breakfast after church (reason why we had maggie mee is because the shop behind my house is still close for Chinese new year), I discovered 3 packets of 'perencah' in one packet of maggie mee! 3 you know! Not 2, Not 1 but 3!!!! What in the world did they expect me to do with it??? Hahaha...of course i didn't use all of it lah I thought that was a good sign :D. What kind of sign you may ask...well who knows...I have to just wait and see :D

Today my daughter went back to school and I'm amaze that she didn't cry. She gave me this sad look at the door of her class but only waved and went back into the class.....sigh...she's all grown up already...:(. Hmmm...I am way to emotional today...I swear its the PMS-ing...

Talking about PMS-ing...its really ridiculous when its PMS-ing time. One thing for sure is that when I PMS, I have like the shortest patience of all...and I can just snap at my husband at anytime...haha...kesian him. Besides that, I crave to eat everything sour, salty and sweet! And all of it at the same time!!! Like just now I wanted to eat chips so I went to GK to buy chips, than I saw some chocolates and I bought that too and than I wanted to have something a bit sweet and sour to drink and I bought Ice Lemon Tea!!! And since I have to blog now, I'm only having my Ice Lemon Tea and am going out of my mind thinking of the huge LAYS Chips that I smuggled into the office!!!

Ok, I better stop blogging now and have the super delicious chips that I bought....yum yum!!!

Ta for now people!!! And have a wonderful day!!! And when it starts raining, start singing the song ok!!! :D TA!

Her First Day of SCHOOL!!! :D

So yah! Last week was my daughter's first day of school....she was so excited to go and we thought everything would be just fine!

And you know being a mother, I was also as excited as her and worried at the same time cause I takut she would start crying. I took a day off that Monday to see how she was coping....and when we first reach there she was so excited...she went into the classroom and started taking some toys to play with and she could say bye and she even gave me a kiss.... anyway, here's some picture of her when she first entered the class and still smiling....

See, she still look so happy :D

...And, still happy :)...if only that two little boys didn't start crying...:P

Than more and more kids came and then one boy started crying and then another boy started crying then we could see she was getting scared. Then she would let my hand go and she kept on telling me to stay. I told her to make friends but I think she was terrified cause the teacher was trying to comfort the two boys who were struggling to break free...it was not a very interesting sight for a girl her age...hahaha....so obviously it freaked her out...poor girl....bear in mine she just turn 3 in December so all this kids are probably older than her....

We somehow manage to say bye to her with her very sad face and she thought we were standing outside looking through the window...we however decided to walk one round around the school and than come back and see how she was doing. When we came she was crying and asking for me.....so kesian....but we decided to just leave her and hope the teacher would be able to comfort her. Good thing is that the class ended at 10am that day and when we left her there, it was 8.30pm. When we came back to pick her up, she was still crying....so kesian her....apparently she didn't stop crying from the time we left...but she of course stopped when she saw us.

That afternoon I had to talk to her and tell her that she has to go to school and that she shouldn't cry cause she's a big girl already....and she said "Ok!", that was a relief for me...however, at night when we were about to sleep she told me she didn't want to go to school. So there was quite a commotion as I was trying to persuade her to go to school the next day and she was crying cause she didn't want to. At the end of it all, I had to tell her that if she doesn't go, the police will come and take her away....so she was of course terrified and said she will go to school. I know that's mean but that was the only way. At first I told her that the police will take me and my hubby away and that she would have to stay with her babysitter...and she said "ok" and that she was ready to go to the babysitter...and when she said that, it was 9pm at night already. So, that obviously didn't work as she was willing to sacrifice her parents to not go to school...haha...sad lah. The next day when she went to school....the teacher had to pull her away from me but she stop crying awhile later (that's what the teacher said lah) and when we picked her up she looked pretty happy...so that was a relief. She told us that she sang and dance :D.

Anyway, on the third day she didn't cry, on the fourth day, she gave me a very sad face that look like she was about to cry, and on the fifth day it was the same as the fourth day. Finally today, we left her with no problem at all. I guess she has already accepted the fact that even though she cries, it wouldn't make a difference. But there was one boy who was still crying...poor him...when the mom sends him, he will cry and when the mom picks him up he will cry...kesian....

Today when we picked her up, she was very happy cause she was going to stay home with her grandmother. Almost the whole of last week, she went to the babysitter (her aunty) and most of the time when we left her, she was crying.....I guess I was on leave for so long (almost 1 month) with her at home that she didn't want to go back to the babysitter again. But the babysitter said that after we were out of sight she immediately stopped crying. I guess she just wanted to be at home and not at the babysitters house...:D. Well, my mom has decided to take care of her in the afternoon's now cause my mom feels so sorry for her. You know how grandmothers are...cannot see the grandchild cry wan...:P

So, that's my story for today! :D

Ta for now!!!

A New Year, A New Beginning!!! :D

HAPPY NEW YEAR ALL!!!

I know its been like forever since I wrote on my blog....it was the Holidays and my daughter was with me so it was pretty difficult to get onto the computer at home. When she was asleep, I was asleep too....haha....therefore no blogging. Got back to work on Tuesday but was busy catching up with work as I was basically away from the office for almost 3 weeks. As for today, a bit more freer to start writing something here :D.

So, its the new year for a new beginning. I've come to terms that I might never have another child and if God gives me one....I'll definitely be the happiest person alive. With this said, I'm not going to try and try and try and be depress every month when my period comes cause that will definitely not work....true? It's like Murphy's Law, the more you want a baby, the harder it is to get pregnant. The more you don't want one, the likelier you are to get one. Does that make sense??? I mean seriously, if you really think about it, couples who are not married seem to be getting pregnant here and there and than getting married. But those who are married seem to have a hard time getting pregnant....for quite a number of cases lah....:P. Strange isn't it...:). Of course I still think its wrong to have sex before marriage....but that's what I think lah....I hope no one gets offended here :D

Anyway, I've name my little girl who is in heaven....I've named her Sabella Solomon. Sabella means "Consecrated to God" and she is consecrated to God so I thought that name really fits her :D. Its actually spelled "Sabela" but I added another "l" to make it look nicer...haha...you know how we humans are...never satisfied with anything :P.

As for my little Seraphina....she has started school already!!! I'll talk about that and put a picture of her with her uniform in tomorrow's blog :D

That's it from me for today. like I said, a new year with a new beginning and lots and lots of BABY DUST to those who have been trying and will be trying for a little bundle of joy this year. God Bless You All!!!

Love, ME!!!! Ta for now!!!

I Lost My Pregnancy :(

Sorry for the MIA. Its been a long month since I wrote the last post. My last post was about wanting to get pregnant......and guess what, I was actually pregnant then...note the word "WAS".

Let me tell you the story. It's really strange. As I was writing that particular post, I didn't know that I had a baby growing in me. It was probably about 2 to 3 weeks old. Of course I was clueless cause I'm the kind who usually does not suffer from morning sickness and I was having my period at that time (I thought it was my period) cause it pretty much came within the 30 days frame. So who would have guessed right?

Anyway, I wasn't feeling all that well and decided to see the doctor on the 20th Nov. At that time I thought I was having really bad period cramps. Went to the doctor and he said the same. I went home with one day sick leave and pain killers. Then on Sunday morning, 23rd Nov, I was in so much pain that I couldn't even walk. Every time I tried, I kept wanting to faint so I had to immediately sit down. I was having cold sweat and my ears were buzzing. I had to consume pain killers and I rested for a bit before my hubby took me to Columbia Asia. When I reached there, they immediately put me into the emergency area, apparently I was so pale. The doctor again tried to figure out what was wrong with me and they diagnose me with Urinary Tract Infection. After a few hours, I was sent home with more medicines to take.

After taking the medicines, I was fine but my stomach was still bloated and it just didn't feel right. I went back to the doctor on Thursday, 27th Nov, and I told him I was still bleeding and it has been almost two weeks. He noted that I was still pale looking and decided to take my blood, urine and stool sample this time. I again went home with some more medicine. That afternoon I got a call from the doctors place saying that my blood results were back and to come in the next day.

So, in I went again to Columbia Asia on the 28th Nov, and this time he told me my haemoglobin was very low. He then wanted to send me to a specialist called Dr.Yeo but I requested that he should send me to a Gynaecologist instead cause I was still having my period. He agreed and I was immediately referred to Dr.Aida. That morning as well, I went to see her, and she did and sonogram and she saw something in my womb. She then took my urine test and told me I was pregnant. I was of course in shock. Told me that it could be a molar pregnancy which isn't a baby or it could be a missed abortion or more like a miscarriage but the sac is still left in my womb. She said she had to do a D & C (if you are not sure what it is you can look it up) to clean my womb. So I was admitted and got the D & C done. Was feeling fine in the evening so I was discharge. I was actually sad that I lost a baby but happy that finally they figured out what was wrong with me. I was given 2 weeks medical leave. After resting for 6 days , I went back to work on the 5th Dec.

However, on Saturday, 6th Dec, during my daughter's birthday party at the boat club, I had a sudden attack of pain which pain me feel faint. I thought it was the fruits I ate that was too cooling that made me feel like that. Hubby ask me whether I wanted to go and see a doctor but I said its ok, and I told him it could be the fruits. Was in pain that night but somehow it was bearable. The next day I was still able to go to church and all. Went back to work on Monday feeling absolutely fine. On Tuesday, 9th Dec, I received a call saying that my results were back from the lab and I needed to come in and see the Doctor the next day.

So the next day, 10th Dec, I met with Dr.Aida again and she told me that there were no signs of any pregnancy tissue when they did the D & C. So she did another sonogram on me and told me that there was something behind my womb. I was devastated cause this just meant that I have an ectopic pregnancy and it means that I would have to be admitted again. She checked my urine and I was still pregnant.

In I went again to be admitted for a small surgery to take out the baby that was in my fallopian tube. Well, it was suppose to be a small surgery, instead that I had to cut open my cesarean scar again to solve the problem.

The operation lasted for 3 hours due to complications. Apparently the fallopian tube had ruptured already and I was bleeding. She tried as best as she could to save that fallopian tube but it wouldn't stop bleeding and I was just way to pale. After 20 minutes of trying, she had to tie it up to stop the bleeding. And that meant, I lost one tube to conceive a baby.

I was given 2 pints of blood transfusion as I lost too much blood. She let me rest that night and only came in to see me the next morning, 11th Dec. She told me one of the saddest things that I've ever heard in my life. She told me that I lost my right fallopian tube and that my left Fallopian tube did not have those nice fingers at the end. Instead it was well rounded. She told me that this meant that I have a very low chance of ever getting pregnant again. She said scientifically it looks as if its not possible but she also did say in her own words that God works in mysterious ways.

I of course cried my eyeballs out that day but I believe that nothing is impossible to God. I believe in miracles and who knows one of these days you'll read a blog about me being pregnant again. But for now, I'm grateful that I have one beautiful daughter. Worst comes to worst, there is always the option of adoption.

And that's my story. I'm recovering at home, which means my Christmas has started early :D. I have no clue why this has happen to me, but I believe God has a reason for everything. I'm also grateful that I'm still alive...:)

And that's it from me. Have a blessed day ahead everyone. Will write again in a couple of days. Ta for now!!!

P/S. I have yet to name my baby that is now in heaven. Any suggestions for a nice name. I'm thinking its a girl. So her name has to start with the letter 'S' :). Sigh...how I wish I was still pregnant and it was a normal pregnancy....
