So sorry for not writing like FOREVER!!! :P

Sorry guys, I know its been like forever since I wrote on my blog. Its not easy being a working mom...:P Yes, that's just very bad excuse. Its just that I've been very very busy with work that its ridiculous. I finally settled most of the stuff so I'm now here writing in my blog.

A lot of things have happen since the last time I wrote. For example, I've turned 30, and I'm not even sure how to feel about it.....hahaha....I suppose its just a number...don't you think. I swear I still look like I'm 25...haha....that's just me trying to make myself happy :D.

Besides that, I've dressed up as Tinker Bell during my anual dinner, cause the theme was Disney!!! I think I look very cute in the outfit...hahaha... I mintak puji!!! Well, judge for yourself, picture is as below :D. It was a pretty enjoyable night and our team did a singing performance where we sang and dance to 'Bare Neccesities' by Jungle Book and 'Mercy' by Duffy. I think after about 5 practices, we somehow manage to pull through and did pretty well. We even won for Best Performace!!! For our winnings, we won RM500, which we have decided to use it for a BBQ at PBC. A big thanks to the musicians, who are my colleagues and my hubby ;). I always got to give my hubby credit cause I think he's a really good guitarist!!! Overall it was a good night since I got to bring her a RM10 Parkson voucher which I used to buy my daughter a Barbie Doll Colouring Set kit :). She loves it and I do to...and we both get to colour, which I enjoy as well since I'm a child at heart ;). Hubby enjoys it too :P. So it's pretty much a win-win situation!!! :D I also brought back a Body Shop gift for winning 3rd in best dress and a manual massage thingy with a towel from Aussino from a game. Didn't win the 32 inch Flat Screen LCD TV...*sniff**sniff*...but that's oklah....at least I brought back something than nothing....true or not??? :P

The musicians....my hubby with the guitar, my colleague with the banjo....another collegue at the far end playing the bongos (small version of it) and another colleague which can't be seen in here playing the basso (I think that is what you call it, its the really really huge Guitar that plays very deep chords).

That's me with the winners of the best dress. The one on the right is Pocahontas, she won the 1st prize!!! And the one on the left is the Mermaid, and she won 2nd prize!!! Not sure why I'm in the middle, since I won 3rd prize :P

As for the complaints about being married in my few previous blogs....well, its improving :). I still love the hubby and he's definitely working hard at this marriage...and that makes me happy....I love you sweetheart, if you are reading this :D.

Either than that, its EARTH DAY tomorrow!!! And don't forget the EARTH HOUR from 8.30pm to 9.30 pm!!! Hmmm...I think I should write this in another blog. This particular one deserves its own blog.

The History of "F*** You" - Very Interesting Indeed!

Well, now......here's something I never knew before, and now that I know it, I feel compelled to send it on to my more intelligent friends in the hope that they, too, will feel edified.

Before the Battle of Agincourt in 1415, the French, anticipating victory over the English, proposed to cut off the middle finger of all captured English soldiers. Without the middle finger it would be impossible to draw the renowned English longbow and therefore they would be incapable of fighting in the future.

This famous English longbow was made of the native English 'Yew' tree, and the act of drawing the longbow was known as "plucking the yew" (or "pluck yew").

Much to the bewilderment of the French, the English won a major upset and began mocking the French by waving their middle fingers at the defeated French, saying, See, we can still pluck yew!

Since 'pluck yew' is rather difficult to say, the difficult consonant cluster at the beginning has gradually changed to a labiodentals fricative F', and thus the words often used in conjunction with the one-finger-salute! It is also because of the pheasant feathers on the arrows used with the longbow that the symbolic gesture is known as "giving the bird."

It is still an appropriate salute to the french Today. And yew thought yew knew every plucking thing.

Marriage, Love? Hate??...Hmmm...Why Do We Get Married Again???

Why do people get married again???

One moment you love your other half and the next moment you hate your other half...and than out of nowhere he does something nice and you fall in love all over again....

On the 13th of November I went hunting for a nice card for my hubby, and the only place to get that in Miri would be at 'Moments' which is part of 'Toysworld'. There were so many cards but none of them suited what I wanted. There were cards that said:

1) I love you more and more each year

2) You're my best friend

3) You understand me so well

4) We have a love that will last forever

But seriously, at that point of time I couldn't even get myself to get a card with those words on it. I do love him but I don't think its more and more each year. Its more like the opposite...less and less.

He's my hubby and therefore pretty much impossible to be my best friend cause every time we talk about something serious, he has his own opinion and I have mine and we start arguing. Best friends always back each other up...don't you think? I know my best friend would :)

I know he doesn't understand me so well....if he did we wouldn't be getting on each others nerves right?

As for having a love that will last forever...hell "no!!!"...we don't have a love that will last forever...we work extremely hard at staying together with lots and lots of 'sorrys' and we try very hard to keep the love alive. Don't you think?

I guess they are some couples who are superly happy being together and I do envy them...but I think most of us out there feels the same way like I do, one time or another....

So you can guess how hard it was for me to get a card for the hubby....I looked and looked and looked and I even went to the sales lady and ask her "Is that all the cards you have???" and she gave me a puzzled look and said "yes". So obviously I went back to the V-Day card section to find something that was less lovey-dovey as the above.

By some luck I found a card that says something like this (its not the exact words but you get the idea), on the front cover is says, "I got this card cause it reminds me of you", than you have to open the card from the left and not from the normal right, than you actually have to turn the card upside down to read it, and it says inside "see! it even has a mind of its own, just like you", then it also says "Happy Valentines Day". It was a cute card with a dog in the front. When i found that card, I was so happy...at least I could give him a card that would be honest. I did also write "Despite all that we have gone through, I still love you" inside the card to complete the card.

Well, after buying that card, it just made me realise even more how I feel towards my husband. I love him but it seems to be slowly fading away. We seem to be living two lives separately, he in his world and me in mine, and once in awhile we do sit together to talk, like for 5 minutes and that's it. Its only been 5 years and the marriage seems to be fading into thin air. Its really sad when I think about it. We seem to be taking each other for granted...big time!!!

Anyway, last night we had a short talk with each other and we both admit that our marriage doesn't seem to be turning out the way we expected it to, when we first got married. I guess most people wouldn't...haha..if we knew, we probably wouldn't be married and most people probably won't be too. Of course 3% would probably be married cause they are superly happily married!!! I know a few!!! Lucky them!!! :P

After last night, we both decided to put more effort into our marriage and into loving each other again. We do still love each other after all and we both believe that its worth fighting for and that going our separates ways is never an option. Don't get me wrong, I do at times think of leaving him but the better side of me gets the better of me and I come to my senses. I did after all say in my wedding vows "to love him, for better or for worst". Its so damn hard, but I've got to try and he has to too. So now we are both back to basics and giving each other kisses and hugs before I go to work and when I come back. Wish us all the best!!! I know we can do it and we've got to stick to what God says "What God has united, Man must not divide!"

My legs have a Life of ITS OWN!!! + Randoms!!!

Sigh..why do I bother jogging??? Now my leg has a life of its own!!! Everywhere hurts cause I did push ups and sit ups as well....hiya...not very smart of me....of course now I'm complaining lah...haha...cause it hurts bah...and its human nature to complain about it.

I guess that's what we have to do to stay healthy....suffer in the beginning and eventually your legs get use to it and your back to normal again!!! Once I'm back to normal again, I'll start bugging everybody else around me to go jogging as well :P

My daughter has improve on her cycling and have managed to paddle and control the handle at the same time...but doesn't really paddle very far. When she stops, I have to push again so she can start paddling again :P. But that's ok cause she's only 3 :)

As for the 4 months old puppies that I have...I have taken some pictures of them but have yet to download it into my computer. Their fat and over fed I may say...but cute lah...my mom says they can't stop eating. My mom feeds that boiled chicken with rice, everyday...so pampered I tell you! Tried training them yesterday as well but they just can't stop moving!!! They can so excited when they see me...that they can't stay still!!! I think the puppies are food crazy....I think one of them can at least understand what sit is but the other one is a bit dense (Lulu) and keeps biting the leg of the one who knows how to sit (Panda). Which gets Panda excited and therefore the continuous movement. I think I need to train them separately.....

Besides the above...nothing much about me lah...oh yah! I did get the new hair cut!!! People around me are being nice and saying that it looks nice...haha...probably looks like crap...thanks peeps!!!

As for Valentines Day, nothing much happen....hubby didn't get me flowers despite me requesting for one...:( was very very upset and he did apologise for not being able to get them cause he was busy Being busy is just a very very bad excuse of not getting flowers...right ladies??? There are so many ways he could have been able to get it for me...sigh... but I was still upset...haha...so bad hoh me...I really was hoping for a rose. We did go out for dinner and he did pay for it...so I guess that made it a bit better, a bit only lah...not much at all, but because I love him I eventually forgave him. Now I'm hoping he remembers my birthday and get me something....fingers cross...maybe I have to give him hints much earlier :P. Sayang he doesn't read my blog :D. But despite all that I still do love him... :)

So yah...that's all the things that are in my head for now...besides work...oh yah...and besides American Idol which is on tonight....WOOHOO!!! Excited, excited!!!

Jogging, Dog Training & Bike Riding - All in an Evening's Work!!! Question is, Will it Happen???

Things I got to do today!!!

I got to start jogging again!!! It's been months now since I last went to Taman Bulatan. Reason for that is because I had a major operation and I had to rest. Besides that, it has been raining none stop like forever. Thank goodness it has finally ended!!! I was lucky to be able to eat and eat and eat when I was recovering from the operation without gaining any weight at all, which was good and not so good at the same time cause I was like 42 kg and apparently I look seriously thin. The good part was that I could eat till my hearts content during Christmas and Chinese New Year. Unfortunately my time has ran out with the not gaining weight cause as of yesterday..I've somehow manage to gain 2kg...woohooo...and that's good I suppose but I need to maintain it and therefore the reason for me to start jogging again....plus I need to change the fat to muscles like how it was before...now only have fat...it even looks scary!!!

I got to train my two puppies to sit and shake hand. Bought them dog biscuits yesterday so will give it a go later. I will most probably be itching like crazy again later since I'm allergic to dogs. So sad but who cares!!! hahaha..I have the Red Tin powder which helps with the itch. I have yet to take any pictures of my puppies but one is called Panda cause he has black patches on his eyes and the other one is called Lulu AKA Piggy cause his tail looks like a pigs tail, and he is white with a tint of brown. I'm clueless to what breed they are but they are so cute and fat!!! I think my mom over feeds them....haha...will try and take some picture later and put it in here!

I got to get my daughter on her bike and give her a 20 minute lesson. I hope I have enough time after I do the two things above.

Let see, if I get out of work at 4.15pm, rush to Taman Bulatan, start jogging at 4.30pm, do 3 rounds to start off with, unlike my 8 rounds that I use to do :( but than again its better than nothing :D. Should finish jogging by 4.45pm...do some stretching and after that will probably leave Taman Bulatan at 4.55pm.

Rush to pick my daughter up at the babysitters at Pink fook (don't ask me why my daughter's babysitter stays so far away, its really a long but very logical story). Should reach her by 5.10pm. Rush home or rather drive more slowly cause daughter is in the car....and should reach home by 5.30pm.

Get my daughter's bicycle out and without changing, get her on the bike and try and teach her how to ride it by saying "Clever Girl" as many times as possible to keep her happy and motivate her at the same time. This will include lots of hugs and kisses. Should finish by 5.50pm by telling her that "its late already and the bugs will start coming out already". That will seriously freak her out and she will then proceed to enter the house...woohooo!!! That's two things down already.

Move towards my mom's house which is connected with mine, since the puppies are there most of the time (there is a door in between our house on the inside, again this is a long story of how my house came to be - lets just say that it makes it so much easier to take care of my mom and have yet have a separate house which was in the beggining a single house...hmmm...ur probably confuse...ok, forget the house) and go teach the puppies to sit and shake hand (while my daughter will be standing on a chair inside the house looking out at me cause she's also scared of dogs, I also don't know why)...the only two things that I know how to do with dogs...haha...I got to try the 'roll-over' trick but let me just start with sit and shake hand first..:D.

And that will end my day!!! Very productive I may say!!! :D. Now lets just see whether all this will really happen or not...haha....

That's it from me!!! Hmmm....I feel like going to shabu-shabu for dinner tonight....yum yum...ahhh....something to think about...mmmm.... ;)

Hmmmm....Valentines Day is tomorrow...hmmm

Woohoo!!! tomorrow is Valentines Day!!! That means today is Friday the 13th!!! Was actually thinking of going to get a hair cut during lunch later but since it's Friday the 13th, I'm worried that my new hair cut will look horrendous!!! But I still want to get a hair cut!!! Well, I don't believe in the Friday the 13th thingy...but who knows right? Maybe I should wait till tomorrow to get a hair cut....hmmm....something to ponder during my working hours....

As for Valentines Day tomorrow...I also don't know where to makan. Was thinking of going to Ming Chai restaurant to makan....to have their ever so delicious drunkard prawns...but then now I feel like eating Japanese food...so I'm thinking of either Nikko or Shiki...hmmm...I hope I don't change my mind again tomorrow. But than again, you know me, I'm so fickle minded. One moment I want this, and the next moment I want something else...I can now understand why my hubby has decided to stay out of making any decision whatsoever with where we eat :P..haha...smart guy!!!

Well, after being married for 4 years, coming 5 this year, and dating for 4 years before that Valentines Day is just a dinner thingy. Actually if I didn't mention going for dinner tomorrow, he probably wouldn't even remember!!! I wonder what happen to all the sparks??? Probably 'REALITY' hit and padam the sparks out...haha...so sad but so true...right??? I'm probably not the only one is this situation. I guess if I think on the positive side, I could even be better off than some, who's husbands don't even believe in celebrating Valentines Day...kan??? But than again there are some husbands who are so super romantic...buy flowers lah, buy present lah...hmmm....I wonder whether my hubby will even get me flowers...I seriously doubt it but who knows kan??? Maybe I should leave hints here and there...like pictures of flowers on his work table..and stick one on the tv and one on the fridge and one on the door to our bedroom...you think??? Haha...I think he will probably think I'm redecorating the house rather than leaving hints...haha...

If you're a married man and you're reading my blog...please do get flowers for your wife. She may say no need...but what she actually means is that she would love to have flowers!!! True! I don't bluff you wan! Unless she's been hinting that she wants something else lah...than get her that!!! But if its waaayyy to expensive, no need lah, cause its the recession period bah and she should understand that you cannot afford to spend so much. She should be happy with flowers already!!! I know I would...hehehe...but than again I'm very easy to please....:D

Anyway, tomorrow I'll probably keep my daughter up the whole day so she sleeps before 8pm That means I would have to prepare a schedule of what to do with her tomorrow that will make her very very tired by the end of the day...hmmm....maybe bring her window shopping with me tomorrow to all the malls...I'm positive by the end of the day, she'll be extremely tired...yes, yes, very good idea...that way I get to go and buy something for my hubby too..and at the same time maybe get a pair or two of shoes.. ;). That way the restaurants will still be open when we go for dinner...if not....there goes our Valentines dinner :P. But like I said, after this long of being together, it probably wouldn't even matter :D. Of course I say only lah!!! I'm very the romantic kind and will probably feel very very sad!!! See, that's what happens when you're a 'Pieces'! :P

Oklah...I'm pretty much talking crap...if you're reading this particular blog....I also cannot understand why your reading it...but thanks though...hehe :D
